I recently had the free version of OpenX installed to be used through my joomla based website. www.gotribalnow.com

My developers have been fired - and I'm trying to figure out why I'm not getting this message when I try to access my OpenX URL. -
Fatal error:
The encoded file /home/gotribal/public_html/adserver/www/admin/dashboard.php is corrupt. in Unknown on line 0

This message came after the developers told my friend (a 'stand in' developer) how to fix this other error message I was getting when I used the URL;   basically about being "out of memory". I checked with Rochen (my host server) and they wrote:
In a recent update of OpenX, they decided to enforce a 128MB minimum PHP memory limit. I would advise contacting them directly, as I'm sure that it's possible to bypass this particular memory limit check. We already allow 64MB of memory usage per individual PHP process which is more than most other shared hosts

I'm not sure how to just access my OpenX so i can manage my adv campaigns.

Can you help?  Be forewarned: I am not a developer. :-)

Thank you!!

Tanya

Follow up: This error is in no way associated with RevMax or btdsoft.com. The user hired a "developer" who for some reason seems to have encrypted most if not all of OpenX with ioncube.

This error is normally seen when a encoded file such as used in RevMax is uploaded in ascii mode and not binary mode. ALL ioncube encoded files must always be transferred in BINARY mode to avoid this problem.

You may also want to note that the users host limits memory to 64 megs and not the required 128mg. "PHP function "ini_set" has been disabled" This renders their OpenX install useless also.

Sad to see this sort of thing cropping up.

Hello,
first let me apologize as again I did not receive notification of this post. I really thought this board was fixed.

I would be happy to help if I can. Please use the contact form at http://btdsoft.com/contact-btdsoft/
and send your login info etc and I will have a look.
